From Local Legend to National Hero
If you know a driver who’s gone the extra mile, nominate them today and help us give them the recognition they deserve.
About the Acorn Taxi Hero Award
At Acorn Insurance, we know taxi drivers do far more than get people from A to B. They support passengers, look out for their communities and step up when it matters most.
Acorn has spent 40 years backing Britain’s taxi drivers. Now we’re celebrating the people behind the wheel and sharing the stories that deserve national recognition.
The winner’s prize
The winner will be crowned Britain’s Taxi Hero and receive:
- A £1,000 Amazon voucher
- Britain’s Taxi Hero Trophy
And that’s not all. Regional winners will also be selected and will each receive a £100 Amazon gift card.
Who should you nominate?
Whether you’re nominating someone else or putting yourself forward for the Acorn Taxi Hero Award, we’re looking for professional taxi drivers who have made a meaningful impact on their passengers, colleagues or local community. They might be someone who made a positive impact on the lives of others, supported a local cause, provided exceptional customer care or consistently went the extra mile.
Whether they make a difference every day or made a difference when it mattered most, we want to hear their story.
